Ruining the Earth

It is well known that human activity has caused a plethora of changes and negative effects on the Earth’s biosphere. For the first time in its history, the planet has been so strongly influenced by a single species (Homo sapiens) in such a short period of time. This awareness gave birth to the term “Anthropocene” to describe human sovereignty in the modern geological era. Anthropocene includes the anthropogenic component of climate change, the threat of extinction of biodiversity but is not limited to these.
