SUMMERTIME Chilli Art Gallery Athens

Art curator Paris Kapralos, in collaboration with visual artists from Greece and abroad, invites you to visit the exhibition “Summer” and honor its opening with your presence on Thursday, July 3, from 7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.

The exhibition takes place in physical form in Athens at the Chili Art Gallery (13-15 Dimofontos Street, Thissio, Athens) and simultaneously online, in collaboration with ARTgrID

The exhibition explores the impressions of everyone’s favorite period of rest through the works of more than 30 visual artists.

Statement: “Summer: a word that evokes childhood memories, hours of endless carefreeness, the smell of the sea, and warm afternoons that seem to last forever. Summer holidays are not just a “break” from everyday life. They are a deeply human need—an essential antidote to the pace of modern life. Perhaps because those first childhood vacations gave us something indelible: the experience of freedom and discovery. According to psychology, shared family experiences strengthen cohesion and reduce stress. But even as adults, summer offers us the luxury of “doing nothing” without guilt, of reconnecting with ourselves, nature, and others. It’s not laziness. It’s recharging. It’s a cultural achievement. Perhaps the sweetest invention of modernity. Essential. Irreplaceable. Summer.”

I participated in this wonderful group exhibition with my artwork “Childhood.”
